Scarborough Reef

Scarborough Reef, also known as Huangyan Island in China, is a disputed atoll in the South China Sea. It is claimed by China, Taiwan, and the Philippines, but is controlled by China. The reef is largely submerged, with only a few rocks above water at high tide. It is an important habitat for marine life, including giant clams and coral communities. The reef is not open for visitation due to ongoing territorial disputes.
