Bajo Nuevo Bank (Petrel Is.)

Bajo Nuevo Bank, also known as Petrel Island, is a small, uninhabited reef claimed by both the United States and Colombia, but administered by Colombia. Located in the western Caribbean Sea, it is home to a variety of marine life. It`s also an important nesting area for green sea turtles. The reef has no facilities for visitors, and its remote location makes it a rarely visited destination.
