Torri del Benaco and the Lake Garda region offer a mild and Mediterranean climate all year round. The climate is particularly pleasant in the summer months. Especially in the higher regions, travelers find cooling off from the sultry heat of summer and at night the temperatures drop to pleasant degrees. July and August are the hottest times of the year, with average temperatures of up to 29 degrees. The thermometer usually does not drop below 18 degrees during this time. During this time the water of the lake is around 20 degrees warm and offers a pleasant refreshment. In summer there are around 7 to 8 rainy days per month, but mostly the bad weather only comes in the form of short violent showers or thunderstorms, which also quickly disappear. Naturally, at the hottest time of the year, there is also the most hustle and bustle in the towns around Lake Garda. The narrow street, the Gardesana, which leads around the shores of the lake, can often become blocked and longer traffic jams are not uncommon.
